PEAKS
„Peaks“ thematisiert die Urform „Spitze“ als Endungsgebilde und Sehphänomen. Sie ist eine archtypische Form, die wir häufig auch aus der Natur kennen, sei es als Blattform oder Bergspitze etc. Aber auch bei Artefakten wie beispielsweise Besteck- oder Waffenformen, oder bei technischen Groß- und Kleinprodukten wie Schreibgeräten oder Raketen etc. Die Spitze an sich ist ein finales Formphänomen in ihr endet konkret die zweite und dritte Dimension. Für mich hat diese Form sowohl grafisches Potential, wie auch ein psychologisches Wirkungsmerkmal. Denken wir nur an eine Spritze oder Nadel.
“Peaks” thematizes the original form “peak” as an ending structure and visual phenomenon. It is an archetypal form, which we often know from nature, be it as a leaf shape or mountain top etc.. But also with artefacts such as cutlery or weapon forms, or with technical large and small products such as writing instruments or rockets, etc.. The top in itself is a final phenomenon of form in which the second and third dimension concretely ends. For me, this form has both graphic potential and a psychological effect. Just think of a syringe or a needle.
