If you walk through the area around Göreme in Cappadocia, new landscape typologies with significant colour and shape characteristics appear almost every mile. As if strictly sorted, various rocky areas are lined up in their very own language of form. Groups of exact cone shapes - large and small, cone-shaped stone giants and massive-high pillar structures, massive towers with basalt hats on top, huge rock gardens with peculiarly strange stone sculptures, softly polished white and red rock folds from yellow to pink and the same colour-changing rock gorges. Exotically beautiful, strange and wondrous like fictional film landscapes. The phenomenal natural sculptures from the Devrent Valley, the place whose name gave the photo project its title. His jewels of form, born of the hardness of stone and, like fantasy creations, entranced by reality, captivate and enchant every viewer's eye.
