RED LINE IN CAGE
Das Objekt > Red Line in Cage < von 2023 ist ein Raumobjekt aus 100 senkrecht stehenden Edelstahlstäben. Seine Größe beträgt 20 x 20 x 25 cm. Das Objekt ist mit einer weißen 34 x 34 cm großen und 10 mm dicken Acrylplatte fest verbunden. In seinem Inneren liegt ein loser roter amorpher Stahldraht. Die Skulptur verkörpert in ihrer reduzierten und kompakten Form das Thema > Ordnung versus Unordnung. Die offene Struktur und die bewegliche Betrachtungsweise ermöglichen es dem Betrachter, unterschiedliche perspektivische Ansichten und Raummuster zu erleben. Dabei entstehen nicht nur interessante visuelle Eindrücke, sondern auch gedankliche Assoziationen, die das Thema vertiefen.
Der Gegensatz zwischen Ordnung und Unordnung bildet ein zentrales Motiv in Don’s künstlerischer Arbeit, sowohl in seinen zweidimensionalen als auch in seinen dreidimensionalen Arbeiten. Ordnung – Unordnung sind vielschichtige philosophische Begriffe, die Reflexionen über die Natur der Wirklichkeit und unser menschliches Leben ermöglichen und konzeptionelles Denken bei der gestalterisch kreativen Arbeit provozieren.
The object > Red Line in Cage < from 2023 is a spatial object consisting of 100 vertical stainless steel rods. It measures 20 x 20 x 25 cm. The object is firmly attached to a white acrylic plate measuring 34 x 34 cm and 10 mm thick. Inside it lies a loose red amorphous steel wire. With its reduced and compact form, the sculpture embodies the theme of > order versus disorder. The open structure and flexible viewing angle allow the viewer to experience different perspectives and spatial patterns. This not only creates interesting visual impressions, but also mental associations that deepen the theme.
The contrast between order and disorder is a central motif in Don's artistic work, both in his two-dimensional and three-dimensional works. Order and disorder are complex philosophical concepts that enable reflections on the nature of reality and our human lives and provoke conceptual thinking in creative design work.
