TRUNK SERIES
Rüsselartige Gebilde schlingern sich über schwarz homogene Flächen. Tierhaft willkürlich und unkoordiniert anmutend ist ihr Bewegungsprofil wie der eines Elefantenrüssels oder die Tentakeln eines Meeresgetiers. Im jeweils ausgewählten Bildausschnitt werden sie zu reduzierten abstrakten Bildwerken die mit ihrer Bildsprache Leichtigkeit und Eleganz vermitteln. In Wirklichkeit aber ist Ihre Herkunft nur das Abbild eines simplen ordinären Pinselstichs.
Trunk-like structures wobble over black homogeneous surfaces. Their movement profile is animal-like, arbitrary and seemingly uncoordinated, like that of an elephant's trunk or the tentacles of a sea creature. In the respective selected detail of the picture, they become reduced abstract works of art, which are associated with their imagery convey lightness and elegance. In reality, however, their origin is only the image of a simple ordinary brushstroke.
