Das Festhalten ihrer zeit- und umweltbedingten Metamorphose mittels der Fotografie faszinierte. Ihr expressiver optischer Gehalt war Motivation für das Ablichten dieser Sujets. Sie sind unmittelbar Ausdruck einer Kultur, die sich durch Hektik und Überreizung überfordert. Aufschreie und Mitteilungen von Wortlosen. Typografisches Ausgeliefertsein in einer Welt, in der nur das Spektakuläre und Innovative scheinbar überlebt. Paradoxerweise wird erst desolate sterbende Typografie so richtig lebendig. Wehrt sich und nimmt den Kampf mit der adretten, sauberen Welt auf.
Findings of typographical search for clues
The search was not for noble letters and briefs, but for typographic junkies, nobodies and underdogs from backyards, tunnel exits and advertising columns.
